If you are not planning to stay at the Disney Resorts this year on your Disney World Vacation, then you might want to consider the hotels at Downtown Disney Orlando Fl.

You don’t need Disney Tickets to have fun at Downtown Disney, a special and fun part of Disneyworld.

The Downtown Disney area is a fun filled place for kids and adults of all ages. It is totally free to enjoy, including parking in one of their multiple parking lots.

Downtown Disney Orlando is easy to find, located right off of I-4. Bus transportation is available for Disney guests either from their resorts or the Disney Theme Parks.

There are 7 different Downtown Disney Hotels to choose from, and all are within walking distance from Downtown Disney. All of the hotels are very nice and offer the special Disney amenities you would expect from being located on Disney World property.

Being located right next to Downtown Disney Orlando isn’t the only benefit of staying in a Downtown Disney Hotel. They are very luxurious and can accommodate large groups or families. Some even offer character breakfasts and extra magic hours.

Choosing a hotel is the hard part of your Orlando Disney World vacation. The fun part is exploring all that Disney has to offer. Where you and your family can enjoy the Most Magical Place On Earth!

Be sure to get a map when you get there from any of the Downtown Disney Stores or Restaurants. It will tell you the Hours and the Locations of all the DT Disney Orlando attractions, stores, entertainment, and restaurants, so you don’t miss any of the fun.

I strongly recommend visiting at least one part of Downtown Disney Orlando on your Disney Vacations. If you want to experience Downtown Disney, but you’re short on time, than I suggest parking in the Marketplace Parking Lot, and visiting the Marketplace area.

The Marketplace at Downtown Disney Orlando has the bulk of the best shops and restaurants.

There are lots of great stores at Downtown Disney Orlando to enjoy. My family and I go exploring there all of the time and never get bored.

The Downtown Disney Area has a huge selection of everything Disney, including Disney Trading Pins, Disney Movies, Disney Games, Disney Toys, Clothes and Accessories, Disney Cooking/Kitchen items and food /spices, Disney Christmas Ornaments and Decorations, Disney Art, Vinylmations, Candy and Baked Goods, Disney Jewelry, and so much more.

Here you can find the Best selection for Disney Merchandise. Downtown Disney also carries items that the Disney Theme Parks don’t, due to the lack of space at the Theme Parks.

As your looking around, indulge yourself in one of the many treats that DTD has to offer you.

There are several places to go if you are thirsty, like Forty Thirst Street by Joffrey's, a great place for coffee, or the Margarita Bar on the Boardwalk in the Marketplace.

If it is sweets or desserts that you are after, Downtown Disney Orlando has that too! No one can pass up Goofy’s Candy Co., a smorgasbord of wonderful candy and bakery items. Or Disney's Candy Cauldron, which has fresh made goodies like candy apples, cookies, fudge, and more.

We can’t forget about the great entertainment at Disney Downtown. This is where the excitement is with great shows like Cirque du Soleil’s La Nouba, or super fun DisneyQuest, an Indoor Theme Park with Interactive Disney Games.

The Waterside Stage next to The World of Disney Store in the Marketplace is home to Disney Performing Arts. The Stage is where visiting guests can watch various groups, like school choirs, perform.

DTD also has nightly entertainment at various locations like Live Music at the Margarita Bar and Music From Around The World. Check your times guide for all of the locations and times.

Our family's favorite entertainment is the DJ Kids Dance Party, starting at either 7:00pm or 8:15pm Mon.-Sun., depending on the location. This is a cool, kid friendly, dance party with a live DJ and guaranteed fun.

You might want to purchase Downtown Disney tickets ahead of time for La Nouba and DisneyQuest. This assures you that you won’t miss out on the fun!

DisneyQuest will take at least a half day or more, this is a good choice for a rainy day.
