Epcot Flower and Garden Festival at Disney Epcot comes every year in March.

It usually runs for a couple of months in the Spring and Summer, so if you have a Walt Disney World vacation planned this year before May 20th, you can experience it just by visiting Epcot. You don't need a separate ticket to enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival, your day ticket into Epcot will get you in to enjoy all the beautiful gardens, topiaries, and events throughout the Disney Theme park. I love taking Disney pictures during the festival. The colors of the many flowers and gardens, in contrast with the beautiful and bright blue Florida sky and fluffy white clouds, is a perfect combination for gorgeous photographs!

There are plenty of Kodak Photo Spots and Cast Members willing to take your pictures for the Disney Photopass throughout the park. Take advantage of their skills and ask them to also take a picture of you and your family with your own camera! They always say yes with a smile. So even if you don't buy their pictures, you have a great one of your own. Our absolute favorite things at the Epcot Flower and Garden festival, is the Disney Characters made into various topiaries throughout Epcot Future World and the World Showcase. They use so many kinds of plants and flowers to create realistic and colorful details. Just gorgeous! You can also find special themed events created just for the Flower and Garden Festival at Disney Epcot, like the Fairy Garden and Butterfly Garden in Future World.

There are also plenty of Disney Shopping opportunities throughout the event, featuring special merchandise for the Flower and Garden Festival. Perfect for the gardening enthusiast. Of course you have all of the standard Disney Dining choices that Epcot offers and New this year you can even try some beverages from Haiti - Garden of Many Colors exhibit in the World Showcase.

We love trying new things. I'd love to see more exhibits from different countries featuring food and drinks in the future ~ I think it's a great idea! Our family truly enjoys the Flower and Garden Festival and we look forward to spending many days there each year. Seeing our favorite characters artistically made into bright beautiful living art. Wow! Definitely an experience to remember!

Goofy's Candy Company offers Great Downtown Disney Dining options! It's a fun place to stop for desserts.

We went there last night to get our favorite items and I wanted to share our experience with you. They are popular for their caramel apples, rice crispy treats, pretzel sticks and marshmallows you can have decorated and covered in your favorite candies and chocolates.

Walt Disney World Cast Members actually "take your order" and make your choice of treats fresh for you, while you watch! You can also find fresh muffins, cookies and fudge ~ the BEST in Downtown Disney World!

There are walls of candies that are for sale by the pound. There is also popcorn, cotton candy, Coffee drinks and more!

It's such a fun place to stop for a Disney treat and around holidays you can even find special treats like the ones below!

So many adorable Spring and Easter treats line the shelves at Goofy's Candy Co. in March & April.

Next time you're in Downtown Disney Fl you should stop by Goofy's Candy Co. for a treat. It's a very Magical Disney experience for the whole family.

Mar 16, A Disney World Halloween Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party - PART 2 -

Part 2 One of my favorite things about Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has to be the lights and the atmosphere Disney creates for that special night. It’s truly amazing and it’s the only time of year you can see the Magic Kingdom in that special way, for Disney Halloween.

The trees are lit with orange, red and blue lights. The park is much darker than it normally is and the colors are everywhere. The Haunted Mansion is even spookier during the Halloween Party nights. Of course you have to have music and sound effects to go along with it right?

At 7pm sharp, when the party starts (it always runs from 7pm-midnight) you hear the spooky voice announcing the party. You hear haunting chimes and bells from the Haunted Mansion and then the Haunted Mansion music starts to paly.

Add that to the Trick or Treating (you get a LOT of good candy & chocolate - LOTS) and the AWESOME fireworks (the best of the year in my opinion) and the guests young and old dressed up for the fun and you have a truly fun filled and memorable night in store.

Halloween is my favorite time of year, but even if it wasn’t I’d still make sure to have a Disney World Halloween by attending the Disney Halloween Party, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. They only let a certain amount of guests in for the party and Disney makes the day time guests head out by 7pm.

The crowds (or lack of) are reason enough to go! Most guests are enjoying the fun events made just for those special nights and we’ve never found the rides and attractions longer than a 15 minute wait. There are a lot of folks in the park, but not very many on the rides.

If you plan on going to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on Halloween night please buy your tickets in advance. They usually sell out months before Halloween.

I hope you will have a chance to have a Disney World Halloween ~ it will be a Magical Experience you’ll never forget! Don’t forget to take lots of Disney pictures while you’re there, they turn out awesome if you remember to leave the flash off.

Part 1 The first time we ever attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party for a Disney World Halloween was in 2003. It was also our very first Disney World vacation! It was nice because we went in October, and had good Disney World weather. It was actually chilly and it made the experience even more special and true to the holiday.

We had so much fun at the Disney Halloween Party that we went twice! We ended up going to two different parties during our 2 week Florida Family Vacations. We were hooked!!! That was the beginning of our annual Disney Halloween trip to Walt Disney world.

I feel that a visit to WDW is always more special during a Disney World Holiday. They really go all out with their decorations and the fun. The atmosphere is extra magical, especially for the Disney Halloween Party! I love the costumes the Cast Members wear for the parties. Their headbands with the little bats on them are so cute and festive! I also love getting my treat bag before I arrive at Main Street USA to start my special night that I know will be filled with Disney Magic and fun.

Mar 3, 24 hours in the Magic Kingdom @ Walt Disney World ... A Dream Come True!

24 Hours at the Magic Kingdom!!!

Can you believe it? 24 hours at the Magic Kingdom? Talk about a dream come true. I will never get tired of Disney. I love it. When we moved here people told us we would get tired of it. It will grow old they said. The magic will go away ... we heard it all. Well, guess what? NOT TRUE!!!!!!! It's been over 3 years and the Magic is still as new and fresh and Magical as ever! I suppose those same people might say that 24 hours at a park would be too much too ... and until this year no one has been able to experience 24 hours straight in a park to find out. Well, I did and I stick with my previous statement. You can never get too much Disney if you're a true Disney fan. I saw the sun Set AND Rise in the Magic Kingdom. I lived there for a day. I spent the night at the Magic Kingdom ... I could go on and on and it's awesome!

I got to pin trade to my hearts desire, without worrying about running out of time. I got to ride the Haunted Mansion in the dead of the night. I rode so many rides and ate so many treats and had SO MUCH FUN!!! Before the special day I thought I might get tired but I stayed well hydrated by drinking a lot of water. I also brought a bunch of protein bars for me and the kids to snack on throughout the day and night and added in counter service and treats. I didn't wear my pajamas though ~ but some folks did! It was a really neat experience and I'm so glad to have been able to enjoy it. Thanks Disney for Another Disney Day!!!

Feb 28, 24 Hours at Walt Disney World Resort!

Yay! We are getting ready for the Leap Day 24 Hour Magic Kingdom Fun!

For the first time ever, Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort are opening the Magic Kingdom for a full 24 hours. From 6:00am on Feb.29 to 6:00am on March 1st. Whoa! Crazy! Fun! Tiring! We can't wait to experience Magic Kingdom for 24 long hours. I guess we will be going to bed really early tomorrow night. But even if we do start dragging our feet and start thinking about going home, Disney World has some entertainment to keep us going. From Dance Parties, To Parades, And Even Hoedowns, we will be sure to have new lots of new pictures and memories. More on our night at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort on March 2nd. (March 1st we will be sleeping:)

My family and I came to Disney World every year for our Disney Vacations. We would make the most of our 5-7 day vacation by going to as many of the Disney Parks and Restaurants as possible. It never occurred to us to visit the Disney World Resorts. Even the years that we stayed at Disney Resorts we didn't do much more than sleep and eat there. We are so grateful to have been able to thoroughly explore all of the Disney Resorts the last 3 years that we have lived here at Walt Disney World Florida. We just wish that we had taken the time all of those years ago to really enjoy what Disney put so much time and money into. Disney World Resorts!

Feb 19, Disney Yacht and Beach Club, Beaches and Cream

Today we went to Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Of course we Traded Disney Pins while walking around and enjoying the atmosphere. We walked down to the beach and then took a boat across the lake to the Boardwalk. We enjoyed looking in the shops that line the boardwalk. With the Florida sun and beautiful blue skies we walked back around to Disney Beach Club. The highlight of our day was stopping at Beaches and Cream. It is an adorable diner and Soda Shop that serves burgers and fries, and ice cream! They are famous for their Kitchen Sink and No Way Jose. After our burgers we chose to have a No Way Jose. It has Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream, with Peanut Butter and Hot Fudge toppings. Then they add Chocolate and Peanut Butter Morsels, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry. It is plenty for 2 or more people to share. Or try to eat it all at once by yourself!

We love all of the Disney Resorts, but one of our favorites is the Jambo House.

We have met so many nice Cast Members there including "King Pin". He trades Disney Pins with you in the Zawadi Marketplace Gift shop at 3:00 - 3:30 pm everyday.

It is a beautiful resort that makes you feel like you stepped through the door and into Africa. It also has one of the best Club level/ Concierge levels. Great service and food!
